I just got into beta for Tera. Everyone else should register (per-ordering does guarantee you a spot) and I will keep an update here as to how the game works. It looks cool. THe combat style makes me think kiting will either be awesome or terrible it is my new job to figure out hahah. Ultimately I am just hoping to get back in game with more of you and see how things work out!

I am taking the time tonight to stir up some conversation about the direction of our guild. I like to think that we have created a sense of pride, among our small group of members, carrying the name Phoenix Ignition. We have been in a lull for a few months now, mostly due to the gaming market, but where do we go from here?

From time to time I meander gaming forums, usually when I am looking into a new title, and always stumble upon the Guild Forums. There are a lot of guilds out there that are far more experienced than us, and also some that are just beginning. I don't want to rank us...

This is GW2 based but that is easy to change. A good friend from Warhammer (Nazgum) runs this hosting company so I am looking into it.

Many of us have talked and while PI is not officially moving games yet (we need to have a meeting and discuss our wants/desires gaming wise as a guild) I know many people will be picking up GW2 and D3 both. I fear this may be signalling the end of SWTOR but like I said we have made no official decision.

That all said we will be having a Mumble meeting in the very near future to discuss our ideas for guild direction as well as community structure and things of that nature. Much of this will be driven by the dying out of star wars and the exploration of other options but as of right...

So I was thinking, some guilds put together sweet youtube vids with gameplay footage, sweet music, messages etc. I have the capabilities of putting together something like this, but will need your help with content.

If possible can you take ingame footage of sweet moments, even photos would work. Then I will use Adobe Aftereffects or whatever its called and put some sweet movie trailer effects to it. It would be a fun project for me, and give us an additional edge to bring in members.

So I know I havn't been posting much lately. I am still around, but summer is incredibly busy for me. Anyway, I am checking in to possibly get people together who may be interested in trying another MMO, namely Star Wars The Old Republic. Sure there is not a release date yet, but I recently watched a game play video and was instantly sold. If anyone still takes a gander at these threads anymore, please let me know!

Our rift division may have faultered but we will live on! I have enjoyed everyone I have played with and hope they will keep in touch. I recommend everyone DL the free game League of Legends and play with me! I will frequent the vent channel more now.
