Which MMO? Maybe all?

Let me know what you think of the upcoming MMOs and if you would like to play any of them. I would like to bring a lot of members into one or two of these games, so we can make a last impression. Here are the upcoming MMOs I know of. Let us know if there are others. Please give a thoughtful post, on why you want to play one or all of these games.

Star Wars: The Old Republic (Release Spring 11)
Final Fantasy (Release Sept 2010?)
DC Universe (Release Nov 2010)

I will put in my two cents to kick things off.

I am for sure, without a doubt, playing Star Wars. The question is, which of the other two MMOs shall I play in the meantime. I think I will have to pick Final Fantasy. The main reason is that I am a huge final fantasy person, and I know a lot of people are. Plus I am not a big Super hero person. I like to control chars that a "semi" realistic, that don't wear spandex....

Plus the profession aspect of Final Fantasy looks kinda cool. I was let down by WARs crafting, and I have missed good crafting since DAoC.

One thing I have to say is Final Fantasy XIV is NOT labtop friendly lol. Most labtops unless bought within last 6 months or so, or you get it recently updated will not be able to run FFXIV even on the lowest setting x.x... I beta tested FFXIV as well =/... My labtop barelly made it x.x.. I had to get a graphic card update (i was running an 8900 Nividea GT). The GPU FFXIV is pulling is fucking crazy high x.x.. Like most Final Fantasy games you can expect awesome Graphics and Pictures, of course FF11 was made towards the PS3, so it sucked horribly for PC gamers. FFXIV is being made towards the PC this time thank god, and the controlls arn't as horrible as they where on 11 Razz

I hear you, but fortuneatly I have a self-built desktop that I can easily upgrade if needed.

How do you feel about Star Wars? Any thoughts?

donno really. Never gave star wars much thought on the mmo that is coming out. Havn't seen or heard of any big buzz about it, or it's trailers and that just tells me that it isn't hitting a lot of people's interest x.x...

Oh, alot of people know about it. I actually new about it way before I heard about Final Fantasy. They have some epic cinematic trailers, and some cool game play footage. I actually don't know a whole lot about final fantasy, but love the franchise enough to give it a try.

Rift looks good. DC Online and Final Fantasy flopped, so hopefully Star Wars or Rift fill my gaming void that I have had lately.

I didn't know about Tera, and after taking a quick glance it could be in the running. Rift is looking cooler and cooler of an idea though. I just hope an MMO can grab my attention as much as WAR did originally...
