This is a discussion thread relating to the Phoenix Ignition Manual thread. These points are not set in stone. They are merely for discussion starters.
1. Recruitment:
a. Everyone can invite
b. Ensure people are competent as people not only in game abilities
c. If they are not personal friends, they must go through the application process via the website. This ensures they are serious. If they are too lazy to go to our website, they frankly will not be a good addition to the guild… I have found in past experiences.
d. IRL friends are encouraged to use the application process as a way for all of us to get to know them, but not mandatory. Plus I love receiving new applications via my email. Exciting!
e. We want to remain a close knit group, so continuous expanding will most likely not happen. We will need to find a good balance so there are enough members online at a given time to accomplish things in game, but not get too large and not know any of our members.
f. Recruitment is up to all of us to ensure we have a fun and successful guild in Rift!
